Investment in the future

The Verden Auction Online of the 23 show jumping foals closed with the average price of 7,337 Euro. The colt Netflix led the collection and was the best paid future hope. The bid up for the son of Nartago/Kannan ended at 26,000 Euros.

Since last Wednesday, bids could be placed. Already then it became apparent that the colourful dark chestnut Netflix (breeder: Dirk von der Lieth, Elmlohe, exhibitor: Henning von der Lieth, Elmlohe) attracted great interest. 17 interested parties made their bids. When the clock ran down, the colt was auctioned off to Poland for 26,000 Euros. The second highest price was achieved by Finita by For Treasure VDL/Cornet Obolensky (breeder and exhibitor: Kai Baumgartner, Kamern), which a regular customer from Spain bought for 18,500 Euros.

"The auction results could not quite match the results of the two previous Verden Auctions Online," said managing director Wilken Treu. After the auction is before the auction – in three weeks another collection of highly interesting dressage foals will be waiting for new owners at the fourth Verden Auction Online from July 1st to 4th. Three days later 48 dressage and 17 jumping horses will move to their boxes in the training and sales centre. They can be tried out at any time by arrangement with the customer advisors. Carefully selected and prepared, Hannoveraner Verband presents the collection at the Verden auction on July 18th.
