Felix Hassmann’s first triumph in Verden

(Verden/ Germany) Haßmann in duplicate – this was no surprise for Hans-Jörn Ottens: The show jumping rider was surrounded at the awards ceremony of the first qualifier for the medium tour by Felix Haßmann (Lienen) and Toni Haßmann (Münster). Felix Haßmann won the first test of the international medium tour with SL Brazonado in faultless 60.65 seconds and was not only enthusiastic about this success: “The sandy footing is excellent. I have not been here for five or six years, and this is really fantastic.”

Plans for the big tour
This year, his time schedule was simply better to participate at the CSI Verden. Haßmann: “I am here with four horses, with Cayenne, too, he is scheduled to compete on Sunday.” Felix Haßmann had won the legendary golden whip with Cayenne in Nörten-Hardenberg two months ago. The 2015 German Champion Denis Nielsen (Lastrup) came in fourth with C.D.2 after Ottens and Toni Haßmann who occupied the places two and three.

Magnetic effect of the riding horse ability classes
A classic competition in the schedule of the International Dressage and Show Jumping Festival are the Hanoverian Riding Horse Championships. There is hardly any other tournament where so many three- and four-year-old riding horse show up to compete against each other. This has a magnetic effect on the audience.
